Reliance Retail on Tuesday launched another budget Android smartphone in India, the LYF Wind 3. Like other LYF handsets, the device comes with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support and Jio 4G preview offer. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will available exclusively on Flipkart. Along with the Wind 3, the company also launched another affordable device dubbed as LYF Flame 8 for Rs. 4,199.
LYF Wind 3 â€“ Specifications, Features
The LYF Wind 3 sports a 5.5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection and 267ppi pixel density. On the hardware front, it includes 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage (extendable up to 64GB).
The other specs includes a 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and is powered with 2920mAh battery. It measures 152.6 x 76.6 x 9.4mm; weighs 160 grams and features following connectivity options – GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.
Much like other Lyf-branded smartphones, the Lyf Wind 3 also support 4G LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). It also support VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility.
Price & Availability: The LYF Wind 3 comes in Black colors and will be exclusively available from Flipkart for Rs. 6,999. The device will go on sale starting from tomorrow.
