Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets has started receiving Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. Though the update is rolled out to both the 8.0â€ Tab A and 9.7â€ Tab A, we are currently seeing the 3G/LTE version of Tab A 8.0â€ (SM-T355) and the WiFi only version for Tab A 9.7â€ getting the Marshmallow firmware update. The update is rolled out via OTA which brings the build number T355XXU1BPE2 for Tab A 8.0 and T550XXU1BPE1 for Tab A 9.7.
The Marshmallow update for Galaxy Tab A is currently rolling out in phases which might takes some time to available for all the users. Users can also manually check for update by heading to the path Settings > About phone > System update.
If youâ€™re one among those user who could not wait patiently for the update and wanted to experience the Marshmallow ROM right away, then here we have shared the download link of the firmware. Once the Marshmallow ROM is downloaded, users can manually flashed on their smartphone using Odin software.
