Android 8.0 Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, C7, C7 Pro and C5 Pro: Samsung has successfully upgraded its flagship lineup smartphones to Android 8.0 Oreo starting from 2016’s Galaxy S7 to last year’s Galaxy S8. In fact, the company also rolled out Oreo update to its mid-range family including the Galaxy A3 2017, Galaxy A5 2017, and Galaxy A7 2017 and while the 2018 Galaxy A8 is expected to get the update soon.
According to the latest reports, the South Korean smartphone giant have the same Oreo plans to its Galaxy C series smartphones. Due to the limited availability of Galaxy C handsets, there might not be more users searching for the Oreo update news. But, nevertheless, the company will start the Android 8.0 Oreo beta testing from June 2018 and the Galaxy C9 Pro is the first device to taste the update.
In mid-July, more devices will be part of this beta testing including the Galaxy C7, Galaxy C7 Pro, and Galaxy C5 Pro. No details have been shared regarding Android Oreo update for standard Galaxy C5.

It’s worth important to note that the above information could be for users in China as the Galaxy C series was initially exclusive for the Chinese market. Thereafter, the devices started making its way to other global markets.
There is no exact time frame for Android 8.0 Oreo update for Galaxy C series devices, but it might not happen anything early than September this year.
